. The Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin in Adlershof Campus is at approximately 15 km from the center of the city, near the airport of Schönefeld (southeast of the city). Berlin is very well connected and you can travel from one end of the city to the other in roughly 1 hour, so you can stay around wherever you prefer. However, if you prefer to be close to the venue, take into account that the only hotels closeby are the Airport hotel and the Dorint hotel. Other hotels are not in walking distance, so you would need to decide wether you want to stay near the airport (only 5 km away) or take something more downtown. We recommend to search an accommodation in the neaby neighbourhoods: Neuköln, Alt-Treptow, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.

. You can access the workshop venue by the S-bahn (S8, S9, S42, S45, S46), which is connected with the metro, trams and buses.
